Research Fellows: Islamopedia InitiativeA professor at Harvard, teaching, what else, Islam and to love Allah

 

Under the auspices of Harvard’s Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Islamic Studies
Program, the Islam in the West Program is creating a website that captures
the depth and breadth of Islamic thinking on a substantial number of Islamic
pronouncements and debates on contemporary issues: Gender, Radicalism,
Democracy, Human Rights, etc. The website will involve students in
text-based research and create a network including scholars of Islam beyond
our borders.

We are looking for three Research Fellows:
-Two Arabic researchers and one Urdu researcher
-College Degree in Islamic Studies or Religious Studies
-Time commitment: 10 hrs/week
Rate: $15-20/hr based on background and commitment
