The Council on American Islamic Relations, which was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing prosecution in US history, is now rushing to the defense of two women convicted on material support for terrorism charges.

SFW has previously covered this case, in which two Minnesota women, Amina Farah Ali and Hawo Mohamed Hassan, were convicted of funneling money to the Somali terrorist organization Al Shabaab:

Finally, this week, these two Jihadi women were sentenced for their crimes and in the sentencing hearing the judge asked the convicted terrorists some questions about their Islamic practices and Shariah.

As if on cue, CAIR has filed a formal complaint against the judge. Note that CAIR has not condemned the two women convicted on terrorism charges, nor have they condemned Al Shabaab, the Al Qaeda-aligned Somali Jihadist terrorist organization the two women were funding…
