We were greeted with the news that the Hizb ut Tahrir America conference which we have written about over the past week or so must now look for a new location because the Aqsa School which had been listed as the host has evidently backed out.

The word that the Aqsa School was backing out came to us from the folks who originally broke this story at Counterterrorism Blog, one of the best blogs and one which we read every chance we get:

We have no doubt that the lion’s share of the credit for the Aqsa school deciding to avoid the bad publicity surrounding such an event has to go to ACT for America, who sent an email alert to their 60,000 members and made this whole story go viral:
While we are glad at this latest development, we must be careful not to assign too much significance to it because it may very well be that Hizb ut-Tahrir will simply move their event elsewhere.
Hizb ut-Tahrir has apparently been labeled a terrorist group by German authorities and is banned there. Our goal should be a similar designation in America to make this subversive, Jihadist organization an outlaw in America as well.

there is nothing great in publishing an article and then jumping with joy because the your hateful desire has been fulfilled. islam is nothing new to difficulties. during the time of Prophet (SAWS) also there were big difficulties and people were trying even harder than you to stop it and every body knows how strongly islam rebounded.
this world is full of timid and fearful people. if this academy has denied the place for peaceful islamic party then it doesnt mean that it will stop islam. during time of early meccan period, till abu jehal was alive, a lot of people who were ready to accept islam by heart were not ready to show it openly. but once this satan was killed in the battle, people got freedom from their fear.
this academy which denied the place for Hizb-ut-Tahrir is also having fear from some Abu Jehal, who will be removed very soon.
