The Saudi billionaire whose investment firm is one of the biggest stakeholders in Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. said he is looking to expand his alliances with the media giant.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, a nephew of the Saudi king and who was listed last year by Forbes as the world’s 22nd richest person, met withNews Corp.’s chief executive Rupert Murdoch on Jan. 14 in a meeting that “touched upon future potential alliances with News Corp.,” according to a statement released by his Kingdom Holding Co. late Saturday.

Bin Talal’s involvement with the parent of Fox News is worrisome for a variety of reasons.

First of all, Bin Talal’s financial influence poses a threat to fair and balanced news at Fox because Bin Talal is anything BUT fair and balanced:

And Bin Talal’s influence has already been used in the past to influence Fox News’ reporting–at least according to Bin Talal himself:

There is much to know about this man, Bin Talal.

First of all, he has financed and hosted telethons to raise money for Islamikaze bombers:

Bin Talal is a big backer of Islamist organizations in the US, including the Islamic Society of North America, an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in US history. It should also be noted that ISNA has been revealed to be a front for the Muslim Brotherhood, the original Jihadist organization:

Despite his disturbing background and connections, Bin Talal has many prominent Americans, both conservative and liberal, snowed:

Bin Talal’s influence is spreading thanks to the largesse bestowed upon him by his membership among the Saudi ruling family. He uses his money to buy influence and then he uses that influence. Here is a list of the entities that he has wrapped his tentacles around:

We should all keep a close eye on Bin Talal, a key player in the global financial jihad, and hope that Fox News turns back his continued advances…
